by Daniel D. Maurer
So I'm changing up the format of the photos I use at the top of a post just for today (I do love those old photos, though.)
This past week, I read an article online someone on Twitter directed me to check out.
It's this one here.
And's it absolutely, f*cking brilliant.
Basically, the author says how pointless it is to argue about politics or religion. That one would be better served by authentically listening to the reasons behind why people believe the things that they do.
I took it one step further during this season of politicking-and-ranting. Since I write and create things most of the day, I'm also on social media a lot. I read the paper. I listen to NPR.
AND IT'S ALL POLITICS LATELY AND I CAN'T STAND IT!
So, for today, I've endeavored to take the opportunity to think beyond the political (or religious) stances in their own right.
It goes something, well, like THIS . . .
How about you? What do you do to change the way you react to strong beliefs?

Oh, and Donald Trump is a complete idiot, a fascist, and a floating turd. If you'd like to know my story "in the clouds" I'd be happy to tell you.
