I wear my heart on my sleeve. Always have, always will.
Oh, who am I, you ask? I'm Laura. In recovery from alcohol abuse and thriving. Conquering (and sometimes suffering from, depends on the day) OCD, ADD, and anxiety. I never believed in body modification in the form of tattooing until I got sober.
And my life changed.
Now, my latest tattoo is a reflection of what matters most in my life. My sobriety, my recovery. With that leading the way, relationships with family and friends and SELF continue to improve. I'm wearing my heart on my sleeve, my sober armor. And I end with a semicolon to represent a new beginning (recovery) when something (quite possibly my life) could have ended.
Laura is the chart-topping, exuberant, vivacious CEO and commando at The Sobriety Collective, one of the cooler sober sites on the Internets.
